Lost and found in the rain
Before I write this poem let me just say that I am bad with punctuation I love to write but I have a very hard time knowing where sentences start and
stop and so forth, so please just enjoy this for what it is and let the grammar go lol.
Ok lets start.
With the water I came my friends the rain drops fell to welcome me to my home or what I thought was a home.
In the rain I found you, your tears like rain drops I kissed away and saw for the first time the sun behind the clouds that were my life.
"
I could be happy in this" My heart wept and the water fell soft and gentle no longer a storm of loneliness and pain but a soft rain clean as a
child's thoughts.
At peace in the rain.
Ah but time passes and springs soft rains give way to winter icy tears and the clouds did darken and the rain turned cold again strangely familiar
almost welcome it fell singing "This is not your home you do not belong here in the rain"
In the water I lost you, your hand slipping from mine, or did I just let it go?
I suppose it makes no difference for you were not my home and the rain has set me free alone and free forever in the rain.
