I'm tired of everyone saying 'happy holidays' in America to jerk off the non-christians. I'm not christian, and it's FUCKING CHRISTMAS. It always was CHristmas, and will always be Christmas, with of course x-mas as a suitable substitute.

To America:

Quit holding everyone's dick and let it be Christmas. Nobody cares about Hanukkah or Kwanzaa anyways.

Pretty good day today. Just got my raise for my annual review. +5%! I'm kinda surprised. I didn't expect to even get a raise. My absences have been kinda suck. It kinda seems like their philosophy is 'If you don't come, we don't have to pay you, so whatever." Yay moar monies!

So I had an interesting start t my Halloween. I almost got killed in a 3 car pileup.

I was helping my buddy move his girlfriend's shit into her new apartment. We had a queen size bed set (box spring and mattress) tied to the roof of his dad's Silverado. When we were going over this bridge, the roof rack broke and sent the mattresses sailing behind us. Not normally a problem, they didn't hit anyone (yet...) and they were tied to the truck's hitch.

This didn't happen directly to me, but my manager told me the story. This person is so beyond any help I had to share this with you guys.

My manager is at her desk, day is going as normal, when she overhears one of my colleagues say:

"Hang up the phone immediately, get out of the room, and call the fire department! Good bye!"

OK, this one's kinda short, but requires a bit of an explanation.

When on calls, we have the ability to remotely control the customer's computer. When in control, we have the ability to control both the mouse & keyboard. The customer is able to disconnect and take control any time they wish.

I don't know about everyone else, but I ALWAYS keep looking for things once I find them.

A little background, I'm helping this lady search her computer for files within Outlook. I bring up the search dialog box and here is what transpired:

Me: OK. SO now we will select the drives we want to search in. You mentioned that you don't know if it's in your local drive, or your network drive, so we will select both.

*selects both*

Her: OK, what's next?
